Planning with Power Point

The idea of having a pin board covered in sticky notes which can be moved around to help plan your writing sounds great in theory.  But not having an office or dedicated space for my writing makes it unpractical and I was spending ages compling great excel spreadsheets of notes which would take an annoying length of time to re-order when I'd changed my mind on a particular part of the plot.
My solution was to use power point ... all you need is to set up a blank document and put every idea/thread into a separate text box which can be colour coded, amended and moved round as easily, if not easier, as sticky notes on a cork board.
